Fosfolipid PS is a complete supplement of phospholipids, essential constituents of the cell membrane.
It is enriched in particular in phosphatidylserine (PS), not present in nature, but produced by our body. It is obtained from an extraction process that starts from soy lecithin. Like phosphatidylcholine, it is an essential constituent of cell membranes ; it has been particularly studied because it appears to be able to significantly improve mental clarity, cognitive functions, and protect the tired subject from stress.
Phospholipids are very effective in counteracting the deposit of fat in the liver (steatosis), in particular phosphatidylcholine, and are useful in the presence of psoriasis and dermatological alterations .
Phosphatidylserine (PS) in particular seems to contribute to controlling the secretion of cortisol and ACTH ("Cortisol Block" action), hormones normally secreted in the presence of signals of physical stress, and which promote the catabolism of glycogen deposits and muscles to maintain high the energy level.
PS also appears to intervene in modulating the secretion of testosterone and parasympathetic neuromediators, in particular by increasing the production of acetylcholine.
It is used in Alzheimer's disease.
Phospholipid PS is indicated in cognitive impairment, dermatological alterations, psoriasis, in subjects subjected to intense stress such as endurance athletes to improve resistance to fatigue .
The benefits appear to be correlated with prolonged intake for at least a couple of months. However, Fosfolipid PS is also rich in phosphatidylcholine and all the main phospholipids, a peculiarity that makes the product an interesting cellular nutrient.
Take up to 5 capsules per day, with half a glass of water, after a meal.
