iPep is a food supplement based on an innovative source of hydrolysed and instantaneous isolated whey proteins: OPTIPEP® 90 DH4, one of the most advanced, complete and qualitative protein sources available on the market today .
Hydrolysis is a process of breaking down proteins into simpler molecular structures, peptides, composed of small chains of amino acids, highly digestible and bioavailable very quickly.
Due to its characteristics, iPep represents an ideal product for sports nutrition.
iPep contains 60-65% of amino acids as rapidly assimilable "ditri-peptides", provides 22% of BCAAs and superior quality proteins (biological V.B. value=104); it also provides an important dosage of calcium and phosphorus.
The taste is absolutely pleasant. The new formulation has been enriched with nucleotides, the building blocks of DNA, which in some physiological conditions, such as intense stress, infections, sporting activity become semi-essential nutrients.
Nucleotides in fact favor the maintenance of the integrity of the intestinal barrier, have prebiotic activity, favor the increase of intestinal immunoglobulins, contribute to modulating cortisol.
An important recent scientific study confirms the significant increase in insulin secretion induced after taking Optipep®, which confirms the usefulness of its action in the post workout.
iPep is ideal post-workout, to accelerate muscle recovery and repair processes, to promote protein synthesis and growth; due to its digestibility it can be used as a support in malnourished elderly subjects who struggle to digest and assimilate foods.
Take 20 g per day (equal to 2 scoops) dissolved in 300 ml of water or other liquid.
To promote recovery in athletes, take 30 g of product, 20 minutes after exercise, possibly combining them with simple and assimilable carbohydrates such as Malt+ and Glycogen.
