Fosfolipid PS is a complete supplement of phospholipids, essential constituents of the cell membrane.
It is particularly enriched in phosphatidylserine (PS), which is not present in nature but is produced by our body. It is obtained from an extraction process that begins with soy lecithin. Like phosphatidylcholine, it is a essential constituent of cell membranes; it has been particularly studied because it appears to be able to significantly improve mental clarity, cognitive functions, and protect tired subjects from stress.
Phospholipids are very effective in counteract fat deposits in the liver (steatosis), particularly phosphatidylcholine, and are useful in the presence of psoriasis and dermatological alterations.
Phosphatidylserine (PS) in particular appears to help control the secretion of cortisol and ACTH (“Cortisol Block” action), hormones normally secreted in the presence of signs of physical stress, and which promote the catabolism of glycogen stores and muscles to maintain high energy levels.
PS also appears to intervene in modulating the secretion of testosterone and parasympathetic neuromediators, in particular by increasing the production of acetylcholine.
It is used in Alzheimer's disease.
Phospholipid PS is indicated in cognitive deficit, dermatological alterations, psoriasis, in subjects subjected to intense stress such as endurance athletes to improve resistance to fatigue.
The benefits appear to be related to prolonged intake for at least a couple of months. Fosfolipid PS is also rich in phosphatidylcholine and all the main phospholipids, a peculiarity that makes the product an interesting cellular nutrient.
Take up to 5 capsules daily, with half a glass of water, after a meal.
