Emafol is a combination of ingredients that ensures appropriate iron supplementation available and specific vitamins with anti-anemic activity.

Contains two innovative ingredients:

• Sunactive® based on iron pyrophosphate, microencapsulated and dispersed in a stable and highly bioavailable emulsion, clinically tested, free from the typical odor and taste of iron; has excellent gastric tolerance
• Lactoferrin: a whey protein capable of transporting iron from the intestine to the blood and from there to storage tissues, promoting its absorption. Normally, the absorption of oral iron is reduced, whereas lactoferrin ensures a significant increase in absorbable iron. Lactoferrin also has antimicrobial, antiviral, anti-inflammatory, and prebiotic effects at the intestinal barrier level.

The presence of Vitamin C and bioflavonoids from rose hips helps to further improve iron absorption.
Vitamin B12 and folic acid are important anti-anemic vitamins, they promote the synthesis of hemoglobin, an oxygen carrier, and must be introduced daily through the diet.

Their deficiency causes anemia, a condition that mainly affects women.
